APSPDCL Connects One Lakh Rooftop Solar Systems in Six Months
Andhra Pradesh’s southern power company has connected many rooftop solar systems to the electricity grid.
It reached one lakh connected systems in six months.
Together, these systems can produce 210 megawatts of electricity.
The systems are being installed at eligible Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households.
They are located across nine districts served by the company.
The company plans to install 2.07 lakh systems in total.
Extra electricity from the systems goes into the local power grid.
