Madhya Pradesh Gives E-Scooters to 7,400 Meritorious Students
Madhya Pradesh gave vehicles to more than 7,400 students who performed very well in school.
The students received e-scooters or other motorised vehicles.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave them the keys at a ceremony in Bhopal.
The money for buying the vehicles was sent directly to the students’ bank accounts.
Starting in 2026, students must score at least 70% in Class 12.
They must also come first in their school.
Students can receive up to ₹1.20 lakh for an e-scooter or ₹90,000 for another motorised vehicle.
The assistance can cover registration, insurance, two helmets and other accessories.
More than 7,400 meritorious students in Madhya Pradesh received e-scooters or motorised vehicles under the 2026 scooty scheme.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav handed over vehicle keys at a state-level event in Bhopal on Saturday.
Financial assistance was transferred directly into the eligible students’ bank accounts.
From 2026, students must score at least 70% in Class 12 and rank first in their school.
The scheme provides up to ₹1.20 lakh for e-scooters and ₹90,000 for motorised vehicles, including specified related costs.
