Rahul Gandhi, Madhya Pradesh Scooty Programme Set For September 19
Rahul Gandhi plans to meet young people in Indore on September 19.
His programme is called Chhatron ki Goonj.
On the same day, the Madhya Pradesh government will hold a student programme in Bhopal.
The government will help meritorious Class 12 students buy scooters.
More than 7,500 students are expected to receive this help.
Each eligible student will get between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh.
Students may buy petrol or electric scooters, with electric scooters preferred this year.
The government programme had previously been planned for different dates and a different city.
Rahul Gandhi will interact with Gen-Z at the Chhatron ki Goonj programme in Indore on September 19.
The Madhya Pradesh government will distribute Scooty assistance to meritorious Class 12 students in Bhopal on the same day.
More than 7,500 students are expected to receive assistance under the state’s Scooty Yojana.
The state has allocated Rs 200 crore, with eligible students receiving Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.25 lakh.
The government programme was moved from September 11 in Indore to September 19 in Bhopal after several schedule changes.
