Maharashtra Governor Honours Indresh Kumar, Palga Rinpoche for Sindhu Mahakumbh

An important leader called the Governor of Maharashtra gave special awards to two people at a ceremony in Mumbai.

The two people were Indresh Kumar, a senior leader of an organisation called the RSS, and Palga Rinpoche, a Buddhist spiritual leader.

They got the award because they helped organise a big event called the Sindhu Mahakumbh in a beautiful mountain region called Ladakh.

That event was about bringing people of different religions together and keeping India united.

The award is called the 'Rashtriya Ekatmik Samarasata Samman'.

The Governor said India always shows the world the path of peace and how to live together.

Another leader, Anna Bansode, said it is very important for people of different faiths to talk to each other and stay united.

The two award winners talked about the teachings of Gautama Buddha and B. R. Ambedkar, which are about peace, equality and kindness to all people.

At the end, everyone promised to strengthen trust, harmony and unity among all communities.
