Kerala MP Urges Gadkari to Develop NH-744
A Congress MP from Kerala, Kodikunnel Suresh, has asked the central government to develop a stretch of National Highway 744 as a four-lane highway instead of reducing its width and handing it over to the state.
This highway is important as it connects Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
The MP met with the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, to discuss this issue.
He also met with the Railway Minister to request more train coaches for the Kollam-Ernakulam route to reduce overcrowding.
