Food safety officials in Madhya Pradesh are checking dairy products arriving from nearby states.

They are especially watching mawa and milk cake.

The checks increased after Maharashtra took action against adulterated milk products.

Officials believe more of these products were being sent to Madhya Pradesh afterward.

In Bhopal, they seized about 316 kilograms of dairy products.

The products were worth around Rs 78,000.

Some of the goods were meant for Arihant Dairy and Lovely Sweets.

Samples will be tested to check whether the products are safe and properly made.
