Madhya Pradesh Intensifies Checks on Interstate Dairy Products
Food safety officials in Madhya Pradesh are checking dairy products arriving from nearby states.
They are especially watching mawa and milk cake.
The checks increased after Maharashtra took action against adulterated milk products.
Officials believe more of these products were being sent to Madhya Pradesh afterward.
In Bhopal, they seized about 316 kilograms of dairy products.
The products were worth around Rs 78,000.
Some of the goods were meant for Arihant Dairy and Lovely Sweets.

The drive followed increased supplies of mawa and milk cake after Maharashtra’s crackdown on dairy adulteration.
Officials seized about 316 kg of mawa and milk cake worth approximately Rs 78,000 in Bhopal.
The seized goods included 150 kg of mawa booked for Arihant Dairy and 166 kg of milk cake booked for Lovely Sweets.
Samples were collected from a Nagpur-to-Bhopal consignment over suspected adulteration or quality concerns.
