Madhya Pradesh Seizes 10,464 Kg Analogue Paneer After Ban
Madhya Pradesh has banned imitation dairy products called analogue products.
These include analogue paneer, khoya, milk and ghee.
The government says the products were banned because of health concerns.

After the ban, food safety officers collected large amounts of analogue paneer.
The total reported seizure after the ban was 10,464 kilograms.
Seizures happened in several districts, including Indore and Bhopal.
Officials separately reported figures for seizures made over the previous year.
Madhya Pradesh’s Food and Drug Administration seized 10,464 kg of analogue paneer after the state banned its production, sale and consumption on August 12.
The ban also covers analogue khoya, milk, ghee and other imitation dairy products.
Seizures were reported in districts including Indore, Bhopal, Bhind, Ratlam, Ujjain and Dhar.
Over the last year, officials reported seizing 2,808 kg of analogue paneer worth Rs 8.5 lakh.
Officials also seized 47,473 kg of other analogue food products valued at Rs 2.6 crore during the same period.
