FDA Seizes 4,710 Litres in Navi Mumbai Milk Crackdown

Officials allegedly caught Shivendra Shyamlal Jaiswal mixing skimmed milk powder and chilled water into tanker milk with dairy owner Pradeep Kamlesh Yadav’s involvement.
Authorities seized and destroyed 4,710 litres of adulterated or suspected milk valued at about Rs 1.85 lakh.
The FDA also seized skimmed milk powder, paneer and cream, while taking action against other dairies in Mahape and Rabale.
An FIR was registered at Turbhe police station on August 22 against 15 individuals and establishments, with licence cancellations initiated.
