Dahi Handi Tribute to Parel Cha Vighnaharta 2026 Goes Viral

Mumbai is a city in India that loves big festivals.

One of the biggest is Ganesh Chaturthi, a celebration for Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god.

Before the main festival day, people hold parades called 'Aagman Sohala' to welcome the god's statue into their neighborhoods.

During one such parade in Parel, a group of girls did something amazing.

They climbed on top of each other to build a tall human pyramid, just like in a traditional game called Dahi Handi.

People watching cheered for the girls' fun tribute to Ganesha.

The main festival day, Ganesh Chaturthi, will be celebrated in September, and after ten days the festivities end with Ganesh Visarjan.
