Telangana Congress may make land resurvey 2028 election plank

India has a big state called Telangana.

The government there wants to check every piece of land and write down who owns it.

Long ago, they used a computer system called Dharani to store this information.

Many people said the system had problems.

So the government created a new system called Bhu Bharati.

Every piece of land will now get its own special number, like the Aadhaar number people have.

This will help farmers know their land is safe.

The government wants to finish this work in one-and-a-half to two years.

That is right before the next big election in 2028.

The leaders hope finishing the survey will make voters happy and help their party win again.
