Railways Add Coaches, Extend Temporary Stops Across Karnataka Routes
Railway authorities are changing services on several routes.
Four weekly trains between Visakhapatnam and SMVT Bengaluru will each get two extra economy AC coaches.
This means each train will have 20 coaches instead of 18.
The additions begin on different dates from October 11 to October 17, 2026.
They apply to regular trains and special trains in both directions.
Separately, South Western Railway will keep temporary stops for several trains at certain stations.
