Railways Add Mumbai and Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Special Trains for Festivals
Railways are adding extra trains for the busy festival season.
One special train will travel between Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Another will travel between Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru.
The Mumbai train will run seven times in each direction.
The Visakhapatnam train will run eight times in each direction.
These trains will stop at several important stations along their routes.
They will provide more seats and travel choices for passengers.
The extra services are planned for the Puja, Diwali and Chhath period.
Central Railway will run seven Mumbai-Bengaluru special trips in each direction from October 10 to November 22.
The Mumbai service will connect Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus with Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal and include 22 coaches.
South Coast Railway will operate eight Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru special trips in each direction from October 6 to November 25.
The Visakhapatnam service will include 19 coaches and stop at stations including Vijayawada, Nellore, Katpadi and Krishnarajapuram.
The additional trains aim to meet higher passenger demand during the Puja, Diwali and Chhath festival season.
