Special Trains Announced for Festive Season Travel Demand
South Coast Railway is adding two special train services for the festive season.
One train will connect Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru.
The other will connect Secunderabad and Kakinada Town.
The Bengaluru service starts on October 6, 2026.
The Kakinada service starts on October 7, 2026.
Each route will have eight trips in both directions.
The trains will stop at several important stations along the way.
These extra trains are meant to give travelers more choices when demand is expected to be higher.
South Coast Railway will run special trains on the Visakhapatnam–SMVT Bengaluru and Secunderabad–Kakinada Town routes.
Train 08583 will operate from October 6 to November 25, 2026, with eight trips in each direction.
The Visakhapatnam service will depart Tuesdays at 12:45 pm, while return trains leave Bengaluru Wednesdays at 3:50 pm.
Train 07039 will operate between Secunderabad and Kakinada Town from October 7 to November 26, 2026, also with eight trips each way.
The services will stop at major stations including Vijayawada, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Anakapalle and Samalkot Junction.
