Mumbai had more than 8,000 complaints about potholes during the monsoon.

These complaints were recorded between June 10 and August 20, 2026.

The city government said it fixed most of them.

It reported resolving 7,829 complaints.

The eastern suburbs had the most complaints.

Bhandup recorded 471 complaints, the highest number among the listed wards.

The pothole complaints came while Mumbai was carrying out a very large road concretisation project.

Last year, the city had recorded more than 8,600 complaints by a similar time.
