Uttar Pradesh AgriStack Farmer Registry Reaches 86.88 Percent Target
Uttar Pradesh is putting farmers’ land and crop information into a digital system called AgriStack.
So far, nearly 87 out of every 100 targeted farmers have been registered.
About 37.89 lakh farmers still need to be added.
Three districts have completed their registration targets.
The state has also created digital maps for most villages.
Three planned AgriStack services are already working, but PMFBY has not started yet.
Officials want task forces to find more ways to use the information.
They also plan to use AI and weather data to help understand crops, production, and markets.
Uttar Pradesh has registered 2,50,81,576 farmers, reaching 86.88 percent of the Central Government’s target of 2,88,70,495.
About 37.89 lakh farmers remain to be registered, while Rampur, Ghaziabad, and Moradabad have reached 100 percent of their targets.
Geo-referencing has been completed for 95,765 of the state’s 1,08,935 villages, with maps for 92,853 surveyable villages available on the DCS portal.
Fertiliser Management, Minimum Support Price, and Agricultural Production Estimation are live under AgriStack, while PMFBY is pending.
The state plans task forces and AI applications to use agriculture, weather, and market data to improve scheme delivery and production planning.
