The Uttar Pradesh government plans to build and open many new medical facilities.

There are 65 projects across medical colleges and other institutions.

Together, the projects are expected to cost about ₹1,606.83 crore.

Some projects will start construction, while others are ready to be opened.

The work includes hospitals, hostels, classrooms, nursing colleges, and emergency centers.

It also includes water, sewage, electricity, and fire-safety improvements.

A large new hospital with 1,010 beds is planned in Lucknow.

Some specialized treatment services, including kidney, liver, and bone marrow transplants, are also included.

The government says the projects will support both patients and medical students.
