Kartik Aaryan Honoured at President Murmu's Independence Day Reception

Kartik Aaryan is a very famous actor who makes movies in Bollywood.

Recently, he went to a big celebration at the home of India's President.

The President, Droupadi Murmu, hosts this special party every year on August 15, when India celebrates its Independence Day.

This year, India celebrated its 80th Independence Day.

The party is called the 'At Home Reception' and is held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President's official home in New Delhi.

Many important people were there, including the Prime Minister and other leaders.

Kartik was invited because he won a big award called the Best Actor award at the 72nd National Film Awards.

He won for playing Murlikant Petkar, a real-life Paralympic gold medallist, in the movie Chandu Champion.

Kartik said the honour was something he never even dreamed of, and he shared happy photos from the event.
