CISCE Opens Registration for 2027, 2028 ICSE and ISC Exams
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, or CISCE, looks after two big sets of school exams in India called ICSE and ISC.
Students take these exams when they finish Class 10 and Class 12.
CISCE has asked schools to start getting ready for the 2027 and 2028 exams.
Schools need to send in the names of the students who want to appear for the exams.
For the 2027 exams, schools can confirm the names from August 5 to September 15, 2026.
If they are late, they can still do it until September 30, but they have to pay an extra fee.
For the 2028 exams, schools can register students from August 5, 2026, with ICSE registrations open until October 31 and ISC registrations until November 15.
If schools spot a mistake, they can ask to fix it using a website called the CAREERS Portal, along with supporting documents.
CISCE has told schools to follow the dates carefully and check the official circular for more details.

Schools can confirm entries for the 2027 exams from August 5 to September 15, 2026, with a late-charge window from September 16 to September 30, 2026.
ICSE 2028 candidate registration runs from August 5 to October 31, 2026, with a late registration window from November 1 to November 15, 2026, carrying a late charge.
ISC 2028 registration is open from August 5 to November 15, 2026, with no late charge applicable during this period.
Entry corrections must be submitted through the CAREERS Portal with supporting documents, and CISCE advised schools to adhere strictly to the prescribed timelines and official circular.
