India has a special holiday called Independence Day on August 15, when the country celebrates being free.

A big ceremony happens in Delhi at a famous old fort called the Red Fort.

Many important guests go to watch, and members of the public can attend too.

To help everyone get there on time, the Delhi Metro trains will start running very early, at 4 o'clock in the morning.

Trains will come every 30 minutes until the normal schedule begins.

Special tickets, called QR tickets, were made for the event.

130,000 of these tickets were given to the Ministry of Defence to share with invited guests.

Guests with valid invite cards can also get special QR tickets at designated metro stations.

Three metro stations, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid and Delhi Gate, are the closest to the Red Fort, and the government will pay the metro company back for these special rides.
