Woman Booked for Pouring Adhesive into 9-Month-Old Nephew's Mouth
A tiny baby who is only nine months old was hurt very badly.
Someone poured a very strong glue called Fevikwik into his mouth.
That glue dries really fast when it touches wet things like spit.
The baby started throwing up and his lips got stuck together.
His mommy saw that something was wrong and told his daddy right away.
The daddy rushed the baby to the hospital very quickly.
Doctors put the baby in the intensive care unit, where very sick patients get special care.
The person who did this is the baby's aunt, and the police are investigating what happened.
Two other people are also in trouble for scaring the baby's parents.
The good news is that the baby is getting better and is no longer in danger.
A woman in Pune was booked for allegedly pouring Fevikwik adhesive into her nine-month-old nephew's mouth over a domestic dispute.
The incident occurred around midnight on July 31 at Kalwad Vasti in Lohegaon.
The infant was admitted to the ICU at Sassoon General Hospital and is now out of danger and recovering.
The baby's mother, Zainab Sheikh, noticed the child vomiting with his lips stuck together and alerted her husband, who filed the complaint.
Two relatives, Riyaz Imam Halyal and Haji Malang Sheikh, were also booked for allegedly threatening the parents against filing a police complaint.
