Naidu, Pawan Kalyan to Launch ₹11,085-Crore Rural Works
Andhra Pradesh is starting a large programme to improve villages.
It is called Palle Panduga 3.0.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will launch it on September 29.
The programme will build and improve many village roads.
It will also provide cattle sheds for dairy farmers.
Trees and other plants will be grown across 50,000 acres.
New drains, bus shelters and village buildings are also planned.
The work is expected to cost ₹11,085 crore.
The central and state governments will provide most of the money.
Andhra Pradesh will launch Palle Panduga 3.0 development works worth ₹11,085 crore on September 29.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will launch the programme in Udayagiri, Nellore district.
The plan includes 9,500 km of BT roads costing ₹7,550 crore and 6,000 km of CC roads costing ₹2,700 crore.
It also covers 22,000 mini Gokulams, plantations across 50,000 acres, 1,000 km of magic drains and village facilities.
The Centre will provide ₹5,391 crore and the State ₹5,694 crore, with additional funding from several programmes and institutions.
