Chief Minister Announces Rs 339 Crore Nakrekal Development Package
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Nakrekal and announced many development projects.
The projects together are worth about Rs 339 crore.
They include a new hospital, schools, roads and government offices.
Money was also given to support women’s self-help groups.
The government said it would work to fill about 60 tanks with canal water.
More roads and an underpass were also discussed.
The Nakrekal mini stadium may receive Rs 10 crore for improvement.
The local MLA also asked for an engineering college.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced or launched projects worth Rs 339 crore in Nakrekal.
The package includes a 100-bed government hospital, an integrated school, road works and new government offices.
A Rs 127 crore cheque was handed over for women’s self-help group development.
Funds were promised to fill around 60 tanks through the Asifnagar Canal and improve connecting roads.
Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham said development and welfare would remain the government’s priorities.
