Andhra CM Naidu Launches Foundation for Rs 11,360 Crore Projects
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu started many new development projects.
Together, the projects are worth about Rs 11,360 crore.
They will be carried out in 123 municipalities across 26 districts.
The work includes building roads, central medians, streetlights and parks.
The projects will use a financing method called the Hybrid Annuity Model for the first time in the state.
Naidu launched the projects virtually from Kuppam in Chittoor district.
He also opened stops for two trains in Kuppam.
He said Kuppam would become an economic and tourism hub.
N Chandrababu Naidu virtually laid the foundation for development projects valued at Rs 11,360 crore across Andhra Pradesh.
The projects include Rs 7,469 crore of works statewide and Rs 3,890 crore in the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation area.
Works will cover roads, central medians, street lighting and parks in 123 municipalities across 26 districts.
The projects will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Model for the first time in the state.
Naidu also inaugurated halts for two trains in Kuppam and said the constituency would become an economic and tourism hub.
