Tirumala Pilgrim Centre, Renovated Museum To Open Shortly
Two new places for visitors are being prepared in Tirumala.
One is a Pilgrim Experience Centre inside a queue complex.
It will use 3D and virtual reality to teach people about Lord Venkateswara and Tirumala.
This can make the waiting time for darshan more useful.
The other place is a renovated museum.
The museum has about 14 galleries with old objects, history and digital information.
Officials are arranging staff, security, guides and other systems.
The facilities will open after these preparations are complete.
The Pilgrim Experience Centre and renovated Sri Venkateswara Museum in Tirumala will open to devotees shortly.
The facilities were inaugurated by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on September 16.
The Pilgrim Experience Centre will use 3D and virtual reality technology during devotees’ waiting time.
The renovated museum contains about 14 galleries featuring Tirumala’s history, heritage, artefacts and digital content.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is preparing management systems, manuals and standard operating procedures before opening.
