Commercial LPG and City Gas Prices Rise Across India
Some gas prices in Indian cities have gone up.
Commercial cooking-gas cylinders became ₹9.50 to ₹11.50 more expensive.
A commercial cylinder now costs ₹2,747.50 in Delhi.
The price of household LPG cylinders did not change.
CNG became more expensive in Delhi and Mumbai.
Mumbai’s piped cooking gas also rose by ₹1 per standard cubic metre.
Companies said international gas prices and shipping problems affected some increases.
The government wants more homes to use piped gas in the future.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) raised 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder prices by ₹9.50–₹11.50.
Delhi’s commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹2,747.50, while domestic LPG prices remain unchanged.
CNG prices increased to ₹86.98 per kg in Delhi and ₹88 per kg in Mumbai.
Mahanagar Gas Limited also raised Mumbai’s domestic PNG price by ₹1 per standard cubic metre.
The government approved incentives to expand domestic PNG connections from September 1, 2026.
