Suvendu Adhikari Leads BJP's Second Tiranga Yatra In Kolkata
People in Kolkata, a big city in India, came together for a flag parade called the Tiranga Yatra.
The parade gets its name from the Indian national flag, which is called the Tiranga.
The leader of West Bengal's government, Suvendu Adhikari, walked in the parade too.
Government workers, students, and religious devotees joined him.
This was the second flag parade held by the state government.
It happened on Monday, just days before India's Independence Day.
India celebrates Independence Day on August 15, the day it became free.
The parade started with the patriotic song Vande Mataram and ended with the National Anthem.
Mr. Adhikari asked everyone to join an even bigger parade on Independence Day.
