Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Leads Tiranga Yatra In Guwahati

On Friday evening, in the city of Guwahati, some very important leaders went for a special walk.

The leaders were the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the president of the BJP party in Assam, Dilip Saikia.

They led a walk called a Tiranga Yatra, which means a flag walk.

Many people joined them, including members of the government and people who support the party.

Everyone in the walk carried the national flag of India.

The flag is called the Tiranga because it has three colors.

The people also shouted slogans while they walked.

The walk started at a building called the Jyoti-Bishnu Kala Mandir Antarjatik Auditorium.

They walked through many parts of the city to celebrate India's Independence Day, which was coming soon.
