Har Ghar Tiranga: 50,000 expected at Suvendu Adhikari's flag rally
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is a big national event about India's flag.
On Monday, a special walk, called a flag rally, will take place.
A leader named Suvendu Adhikari will walk with the national flag in hand.
Police think about 50,000 people will join the walk.
The walk starts at the Netaji statue on Mayo Road.
It will go along JL Nehru Road, Cathedral Road and Queensway.
It will end at the Victoria Memorial.
The walk starts around 3pm, and people will gather at least two hours before that.
Some roads will be closed while people are walking, so everyone stays safe.
Police will show drivers other ways to go.
Suvendu Adhikari will lead a Har Ghar Tiranga flag rally from Mayo Road to the Victoria Memorial on Monday, August 10.
Police sources estimate around 50,000 people will participate in the rally.
The programme is scheduled to start around 3pm, with attendees gathering at least two hours before.
The rally route runs along Mayo Road, JL Nehru Road, Cathedral Road and Queensway.
Vehicular traffic will be closed on several roads, including Kingsway, Mayo Road, Red Road and Kidderpore Road, as and when required, with diversions in place.
