Thane RTO Warns Commuters Before September Fare Hike
Auto-rickshaws and black-and-yellow taxis in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region will cost more from September 1, 2026.
The starting price for an auto ride will be ₹27 for the first 1.5 kilometers.
The starting price for a black-and-yellow taxi will be ₹33 for the same distance.
Longer trips will use the new distance-based rates.
