Student Dies, Four Injured in School Neem Tree Collapse
A big branch of an old neem tree broke and fell on children at a school in the town of Bhongir.
The children were playing kabaddi outside in the school ground.
More than 100 children were outside getting ready for a big celebration.
One eight-year-old boy was hurt very badly and died at the hospital.
Four other children were hurt, but their injuries were not as serious.
Some parents said the tree caught fire about two weeks ago.
They think the fire made the branch weak and that the school should have cut it down.
The police are now checking to find out exactly what happened.

An eight-year-old Class III student died and four others were injured when a neem tree branch fell on them at Government Primary School (Bhagayath) in Bhongir, Yadadri-Bhongir district, on Thursday.
The accident occurred around 4.20 pm, about 10 minutes before classes ended, while more than 100 students were in the school ground for Independence Day games.
The boy died while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bibinagar; a student with a leg fracture was shifted there, and three students with minor injuries were discharged from Government Hospital, Bhongir.
Parents alleged the nearly 50-year-old tree had caught fire about two weeks ago and that the school management failed to remove damaged branches despite the risk to students.
Bhongir Town police registered a case; officials said action would be taken against the headmaster if negligence was established in an inquiry.
