With irrigation, he was able to continue farming even during a drought.

His farm now produces flowers, coconuts, sugarcane and vegetables.

During Shravana, his flowers earn him about Rs 4,000 each day.

Vasanth thanked Minister MB Patil by giving him flowers and tender coconuts.

Patil said he was happy to see the farm doing well.
