India Could Overtake United States in Metro Rail Length
India is building many more metro rail lines across its cities.
Its network now measures 1,170 kilometres in 26 cities.
The United States has about 1,386 kilometres of metro rail.
This means India is 216 kilometres behind the United States.
Minister Manohar Lal said India may pass the United States within two years.

Trains will run regularly each day to help people travel around the city.
