There is a big railway company called Northeast Frontier Railway, or NFR.

Between January and July of 2026, it worked on making trains safer and better.

It put smart signals at nine train stations so trains know when it is safe to move.

It made 40 level crossing gates safer, where roads cross the train tracks.

It also added 39 sliding booms, which are gates that slide across the road.

The railway installed cameras at 74 stations and 24 level crossing gates to watch what is happening.

It upgraded the phone and radio systems train controllers use in two divisions.

It also made the computer network for booking tickets faster at ten places.

Thanks to all this, trains can run more smoothly and passengers get better services.
