Foreign gangster-linked operative arrested with pistol in Punjab's Bathinda
Police in Punjab, India, caught a young man acting suspiciously near a college.

Investigation revealed the weapon was procured on the directions of a foreign-based gangster and Jassa was planning to execute a crime.
The accused was detained near the boundary wall of Rajindra College after reportedly becoming nervous upon seeing a police vehicle.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said further investigation is underway to establish forward and backward linkages, while ADGP Promod Ban of the Anti-Gangster Task Force noted the accused's past criminal cases, including under the Arms Act.
