Foreign gangster-linked operative arrested with pistol in Punjab's Bathinda

Police in Punjab, India, caught a young man acting suspiciously near a college.

His name is Jasdeep Singh, and he is 25 years old.

When police searched him, they found a small, country-made gun and two bullets.

Police believe the man got the gun because a gangster living in another country told him to.

The man may have been planning to do something illegal with the weapon.

He lives in Beer Behman village in Bathinda district.

The police were doing their normal patrol when they saw him, and he became nervous when he noticed their vehicle.

The head of Punjab Police, Gaurav Yadav, said officers are still investigating who else might be involved.

Another officer said the man has been in trouble with the law before.

Now he is under arrest, and the police will continue their investigation.
