Punjab Police busts ISI-sponsored Babbar Khalsa International terror module
The police in Punjab, India, caught a person who was part of a group that plans dangerous attacks.
The group is called Babbar Khalsa International, or BKI for short.
The police say another group, called ISI, and people living in foreign countries were helping BKI from outside.
Two police teams, one from Jalandhar and one from SBS Nagar, worked together to find him.
They arrested a man named Lakhwinder Singh, who is also called Jola.
The police found a hand grenade, which is a small weapon that can explode.
They believe the man planned to use the grenade in an attack, but the police stopped it before it could happen.
The grenade was hidden in a secret spot called a Dead Letter Box near a place called Adampur.
A Dead Letter Box is a hiding place people use to pass weapons, money, or messages without meeting face-to-face.
Now the police are looking for other people involved with the group to keep everyone safe.

Key operative Lakhwinder Singh alias Jola, a resident of village Bairsian in SBS Nagar, was arrested and an 86-P hand grenade was recovered, foiling a planned attack.
The accused allegedly procured the grenade from a Dead Letter Box (DLB) near Adampur, Jalandhar, on the directions of foreign-based handlers; it was later recovered from Bairsian village in SBS Nagar.
A DLB is a covert technique used by terrorists, handlers and organised crime syndicates to pass instructions, money, or weapons without meeting face-to-face.
An FIR (No. 124 dated 09.08.2026) was registered under sections 113(1) and 113(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act at Police Station Sadar Nawanshahr.
