Punjab Police Bust Alleged Cross-Border Arms Network, Recover 10 Pistols

Punjab Police say they stopped a group suspected of moving weapons illegally.

Two men were arrested, and both were named Gurpreet Singh.

Police say they found 10 pistols, magazines and 10 cartridges.

Nine pistols were 9MM models, and one was a .30 bore pistol.

Officers also took the motorcycle the men were allegedly using.

Police allege that a drone brought the weapons near the border.

They say a foreign-based handler wanted the men to deliver the weapons to someone else in Punjab.

The men remain under investigation while police look for other people connected to the alleged network.
