Punjab Police bust cross-border drug, arms networks; seven held

These people were bringing drugs and guns into India from other countries.

The police arrested seven people and found 10 pistols, more than one kilogram of heroin, and a drone.

Some of the guns came from faraway places like Turkiye, Austria, and China.

Police got a secret tip and then arrested the people one by one.

During questioning, some of the arrested people told police about their friends in the network, which helped police catch the others.

Police think the guns were meant to be used against someone from another gang because of an old fight.

One of the arrested people had been in trouble with the police before.
