Experts looked at the farmers' groundnut and maize fields.

They gave farmers simple tips to feed their plants better.

For maize, they said to spray a special zinc plant food.

For dry groundnuts, they said to spray the leaves with a special water mix.

They also advised planting crops that grow quickly, like foxtail millet, pearl millet, horse gram, and green gram.

These crops finish growing before the dry spell becomes too serious.

This way, farmers can still grow food even with less rain.
