Civic Works Worth Rs 3,531 Crore Launched in Vizag
The Andhra Pradesh government has started many new city improvement projects in Visakhapatnam.
The projects are worth more than Rs 3,531 crore.
They will improve drinking water, drainage, roads and other public facilities.
Officials want to finish them within 18 months.
The chief minister also launched projects worth Rs 11,360 crore in municipalities across the state.
The government says it is restarting projects that had stopped earlier.
It is also spending Rs 4,500 crore to finish stalled Tisco houses.
Schools, anganwadi centres and hospitals will be improved in Tidco housing colonies.
These projects are meant to improve daily life and public services.
