The rain caused small landslides of mud and rocks.
Because of this, 259 roads in the state got blocked, so many people could not travel.
Power also went out in some areas, and some places lost their water supply.
The district called Mandi was hit the hardest, with 120 blocked roads.
The main highway to a beautiful town called Manali was also blocked, but one side of the road was opened back up.
Other districts like Chamba and Kullu also had many blocked roads.
In Kullu, the leaders told all schools and colleges to stay closed for the day.
But students taking important board exams still went to school.

The Kullu district administration ordered all educational institutions in the subdivision to remain closed on Tuesday, while board examinations continued as scheduled.
