Maharashtra FDA Seizes ₹25 Lakh Goods, Suspends Five Licences
Maharashtra’s food safety department inspected many places that sell or prepare food.

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration inspected 31 food establishments across several divisions on Tuesday.
Officials seized banned products worth ₹11.40 lakh and other food products valued at about ₹13.90 lakh.
Five food business licences were suspended, while 22 establishments received improvement notices.
The crackdown led to 10 arrests, eight FIRs and the sealing of six establishments.
The action was conducted under the “Safe Food, Safe Maharashtra” campaign after hygiene and safety violations were found.
