Heavy rain fell in Jaipur and other parts of eastern Rajasthan on Monday.

The water covered roads and made traffic difficult.

Some markets, homes and low-lying areas were flooded.

Kherthal-Tijara and Kishangarhbas were among the affected places.

Vehicles had to move slowly through deep water on Moti Dungri Road in Jaipur.

Several districts, including Alwar, Dholpur and Bharatpur, received rain.

Weather officials said more rain could come between August 24 and 26.

They expect the heaviest rain in some parts of the eastern region.
