He stepped on a stone covering an old borewell.

The stone moved, and he fell into the opening.

He became trapped several metres underground.

Rescuers gave him oxygen and water and kept talking to him.

Disaster response teams dug around the borewell with three machines.

After nearly five hours, they safely pulled him out.

Bhanu was awake and taken to a hospital for a check-up.
