Rajasthan Braces for Heavy Monsoon Rainfall Across Several Divisions

The weather experts said the rain will slowly get lighter starting August 14 and 15.
They advised people to avoid open fields, tall trees and electric poles during storms.

The Meteorological Centre, Jaipur forecasts moderate to heavy rainfall at isolated places across Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions.
Weather warnings have been issued for Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali, Phalodi and adjoining areas.
Thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds of around 30-40 kmph and light to moderate rainfall are likely at isolated places.
Waterlogging has been reported in Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Karauli, Dholpur, Baran, Kota, Dausa and Jhalawar districts after recent heavy spells.
Rainfall activity is expected to gradually decline from August 14 in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions and decrease across most of the state from August 15.
