Modi Meets CWG 2026 Medallists, Says 'Jo Khelega, Woh Khilega'
India's leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met some very talented athletes who won medals at the Commonwealth Games, a big sports competition held this year in Glasgow.
Everyone gathered for a happy celebration at Modi's official home in New Delhi, India.
He personally said congratulations to the medal winners and told them, 'Jo khelega, woh khilega,' which means if you play, you will grow and shine.
He also asked everyone to always cheer for India, and the group chanted 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai,' a way of cheering for their country.
India's team did really well, winning 39 medals in total, which earned them fourth place.
The boxers were especially amazing, winning 10 medals, including seven gold ones.
India's judo players also had their best-ever Games, winning four medals.
A gold-medal boxer named Sakshi Chaudhary said Modi was very humble and kind.
