Hyderabad Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour
In India, there is a very special day called Independence Day, when people remember their country being free.
This year, people in the city of Hyderabad celebrated the 80th Independence Day.
Government offices and neighborhood groups raised the national flag to mark the occasion.
People remembered the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation's independence.

He received a special salute from police officers and gave certificates to 72 police officers for doing their jobs very well.

The human rights commission celebrated too, with songs like Vande Mataram and the national anthem being sung.

Sajjanar presented certificates of appreciation to 72 police officers and personnel for their exemplary dedication, meritorious service, and operational excellence.
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation celebrated at its head office, where Commissioner G Srijana appreciated the dedication and commitment of CMC employees.
The Telangana Human Rights Commission celebrated with Chairperson Dr. Justice Shameem Akther hoisting the national flag, following the singing of Vande Mataram and the national anthem.
