Indore Crime Branch Nabs Absconding MD Drug Accused, Another Held
In a city called Indore in India, the police caught two people who had illegal drugs.
One man, Shahid Mansoori, had been hiding from the police for a long time.
Shahid was accused of helping sell a drug called MD, which is not allowed.
Another man, Alfaz Khan, was caught earlier this year with a small amount of MD.
Shahid works as an air conditioner repair technician and lives in a place called Firdous Nagar.
Now the police are asking Shahid questions to find out who makes the drugs and who buys them.
In another case, police officers saw a man acting suspiciously and chased him when he tried to run.
They found a drug called brown sugar with him — his name is Aniket, also called Chhotu Barbele.
The police have been very busy this year, registering 54 drug cases and arresting 116 people since January.
The officers will keep investigating, and more people involved with the drugs could be arrested later.
Indore City Crime Branch arrested Shahid Mansoori, the absconding accused in an MD drug trafficking case, on Thursday.
The NDPS case began after Alfaz Khan was caught earlier this year with 11.4 grams of MD drugs worth about Rs 1.10 lakh.
Shahid, an AC repair technician from Firdous Nagar, is being questioned about drug sources, suppliers, buyers and other network members.
Since January 1, 2026, Crime Branch has registered 54 NDPS cases and arrested 116 accused, seizing drugs, firearms and property worth around Rs 2.96 crore.
