The arrest followed a tip-off, with a trap laid near the Sai Dham/Dattani Park bus stop in Gayatri Nagar along the Western Express Highway.
A case was registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Pandey is originally from Uttar Pradesh; investigation is underway to trace the drug's source, recipients, and wider supply network.
