Delhi H1N1 Cases Jump Nearly Six-Fold This Monsoon Season

A flu called H1N1 is spreading a lot in Delhi right now.

The city is seeing many more sick people than it did last year.

So far this season, 1,344 people have gotten sick with it.

Last year, at the same time, only 229 people had it.

That means almost six times more people are getting the flu now.

Doctors and hospitals are paying close attention because of this big jump.

The sickness is also spreading in the wider Delhi area, called Delhi-NCR.

Some people, especially children, are taking a long time to feel better.

So everyone is being told to be extra careful during the monsoon season.
