Telangana Selects 4,508 Pilgrims for Haj 2027 This Year
The state of Telangana in India has a special program for the Haj pilgrimage.
They have 5,594 spots for 2027, and 11,708 people applied.
A computer draw chose 4,508 people to get a spot.
The rest, 6,114 people, will wait for the next chance.
Those who got a spot must pay part of the cost by August 10.
They can see if they were chosen on the committee’s website.
The committee is led by Syed Gulam Afzal Biyabani.
The program also has special spots for people 65 and older and for those who were waiting from last year.
Telangana allotted 5,594 Haj 2027 seats, 4,508 selected via digital draw.
11,708 applications received, including 818 for pilgrims 65+ and 186 from 2026 waiting list.
6,114 applicants placed on waiting list after draw.
Selected pilgrims must pay first installment by August 10.
